Studio and first still life
I also learned a lot from the second lesson in the studio. Now we had to experiment with focus and out of focus. I actually never worked with aperture and shutter speed before so it was quite a challenge for me, but it was kind of successful. I am not very happy with the images but I succeeded the technical aspects. Still lifes are very hard for me to do because I like to create something in my photography. Thats also the reason why I like the unsharp picture the most because the objects became something new. Now the picture is completely unsharp, all of a sudden you look at the shapes and the colors more. All of a sudden a new object is created, a new form. Normally for me still lifes are only a copy of the reality in front of the camera. I still have to find a way in creating here. This is a learning point for myself.
This day actually made me a little insecure thought. I felt panic when I saw other people do so good in the studio. Will I ever be able to understand how all of this works? So another learning point for me is to look less at what other people are doing. And don't bother asking other people for help.
